He is an official licensed tour guide from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism. All of his tours are organized by a group of professionals who speak different languages and are based in most of the famous vibrant historical cities of Egypt such as but not limited to Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada, etc.

STORY OF MO SWEFY & CAIRO TRIPS

Born and raised in Cairo, I’ve been guiding travelers around the whole city and met people from different backgrounds. My strong passion for the historical truth of Cairo, its archeology and the breathtaking beauty of its historical sights brought me to achieve the license of Tourist Guide in 2016. During my excursions fun, knowledge and adventure are guaranteed. With me it’s not just traveling, it’s discovering and exploring enthusiastically.

I was born in Al-Darb Al-Ahmar Historic District, in Islamic Cairo in 1982. My parents were the ones who made the effort to teach me the passion and love of languages, history and geography of my country. I have led tours to the pyramids and Sphinx, the Egyptian museum, the Coptic Cairo. etc, I have guided a plethora of people around almost every corner of Cairo.

I have done a great job when I had worked as Library Assistant at the Tahrir Library (The American University in Cairo) I am always customer-oriented and center all my efforts to satisfy my clients. I also drove several golf car tours and lead several walking tours around Al-Azhar Park and its surroundings, as well as the renowned Al-Muizz Li-Deen Allah Street. It was considered as a transitional period of time between leaving a job and fulfilling my dream job, “successful tour guide-operator career”. My passion is to help people make their dreams come true.

In January 2021, I launched my first dedicated website cairotrips.com, offering tourism services to clients all over in a style new, unprecedented and unique from other tour guides. The big reason behind this is his deep appreciation and love for foreigners which started from my childhood when their culture and kindness captured my mind and heart since I was a child. To this day I love guiding the foreigners (tourists & ex-pats alike) around Islamic Cairo and around Greater Cairo, Giza & Alexandria.
