The first stop will be at Sakkara to visit King Djoser’s step pyramid, which consists of multiple simple mastabas (bench-shaped superstructures covering the tombs in ancient Egypt) and dates back to 2600 BC, built during the 3rd Dynasty, and is considered the oldest stone structure in the region built for King Djoser. The next stop will be at the bent pyramid in the Dashour area, which is known mainly for being the royal necropolis area. Then, at the end of your day tour, you will go to explore the ruins of Egypt’s first capital, Memphis, which served as a cultural center for 3000 years.
